Over 500 calls come into Chicago Police Department on a given day regarding domestic violence. Care to guess how many actual available places there might be to accomodate someone trying to run for their life? You won't believe the number of available spots for our dogs and cats on any given day--and when you hear the comparisons and the numbers YOU WILL NOT BELIEVE IT---trust me---we better believe it---MORE MPORTANT---we better do something about it--and WE ARE!!

Today marks the kickoff clothing drive for Aileen Rosen's Clothing Her In Courage (C.H.I.C.) sponsored by New Face of Fitness and hosting facilities. Ms. Rosen's work is vital and necessary! You will be amazed, inspired and ready to take action to help in this very worthy and needed cause.

St. Louis site will be collecting clothes from
Oct. 7- Nov. 7 and conducting silent auction for 2003 year membership to NFOF. Bid cards are only $ 10 with starting bid of only $ 200 (actual value of one year membership is $420). If you care to bid for St. Louis membership just send me your contact info and we'll get you a bid card pronto!

YWCA in Aurora will also offer 2003 membership for silent auction- a $ 500 value with bids to start at only $ 200. If you are interested in bidding on membership for YW, send contact info and we'll get it out to you. Bid cards for this location are only $10 too!

All proceeds go to CHIC and clothing drive will benefit CHIC and Mutual Ground in the local Fox Valley area!
