Since 1992, Dee has maintained over 100 pound weight loss and corrected medical problems including high blood pressure, high blood cholesterol and diabetes.

She exemplifies that fitness comes in all shapes and sizes.

Founder of the New Face of Fitness program and President of C.H.O.I.C.E.S. VVV with DE Inc., she holds certifications as a health/fitness instructor through American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), American Council on Exercise (ACE) and Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA). Dee holds certification as a personal trainer through ACE and is a member of ACSM(NY), IDEA, FACT, ECA, and AEA.

As a continuing education provider for IDEA's World Conventions - 1995, 1996, and 1997 and provider through ACE and AFAA, Dee continues to spread the word regarding her "fitness is for every BODY" theme. Dee is a freelance writer and past member of the National Speakers Association. As a motivational speaker, she has conducted presentations that include a keynote address for Jazzerjam '95 and numerous expo and convention engagements. She has consulted and conducted professional and motivational addresses/workshops for Aetna Insurance and Nike Inc., along with many hospitals and other corporate events.

The New Face of Fitness program and Dee have been featured on ABC's 20/20 (January 1997), Maury Povich (March 1997), and in Newsweek, Self, Fitness and Family Circle Magazines in 1997. Her book. Thin is Just a Four-Letter Word - Living Fit for All Shapes and Sizes was released in January 1997 by Little Brown & Co. publishers. The paperback version was released by Dell Publishers in 1998 and is available nationwide. In January of 1997, Dee completed a 20-city media/promotional book tour. In 1998 Dee and NFOF have appeared in BBW, Womans Day, Weight Watcher and Mode Magazines. January 1999 Ebony Magazine included Dee as well.
